Subsidies as a source for financing public construction contracts

This bachelor thesis deals with subsidies as a source for financing public construction contracts. The first part is focused on explaining the concepts related to the issue, such as investment, sources of investment financing, public procurement, etc. The second part describes the investment project of the municipality Mrákotín. This is the construction of a new sewerage system financed partly by subsidy sources of the Ministry of Agriculture and partly by a long-term loan. Based on the obtained information on the provided subsidies and loans and according to the results of the municipality's management in the years 2015-2019, other variants of financing this investment project were proposed.

The objective of this thesis is delineating the overview about the system of support the sport in the Czech Republic, specifically the financing of sport from public budgets. The thesis deals with settings of grand programs, who mades and authorizes programs, who determines about the financial amount which are invested to individual programs. This thesis shows how backward control of paid grants is made or creation of sports conpcets. The output of the practical part are answers these questions at Kladno city and The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part emphasizes on irreplaceability of movement and sport for the society and also is generally devoted to the formation of public policy and theirs actors and emplacement sport support in the Czech legal order.

Current resources and opportunities of public libraries funding in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the current situation regarding the funding of public libraries in the Czech Republic. The introduction comprises a concise definition of the legislative framework for funding public libraries. In the main section of the work the author deals with the system of libraries providing public library and information services and how these libraries can be established. Then the analysis of the financial resources that can be used by these libraries follows, i.e. grants by founders, national and international programs and projects to support libraries, fundraising, donating, sponsoring, patronage, volunteering, grants by foundations, libraries' own business. There is also a description of pricing and financial policy, analysis of the financial management of libraries in various regions and the influence of the economic crisis on library budgets. The main part of the thesis related to the whole Czech Republic is followed by the part aimed only at the Central Bohemian. For analysis and description of financial resources and opportunities The Central Bohemian Research Library in Kladno, contributory organization has been selected. Role of Public Finance during the Territory Regeneration

The title of the Diploma thesis is "The role of public finances in restoring municipal facilities and territory". The thesis assesses a participation of the public finances sector in a process of restoring the essential municipal facilities and territory damaged by disaster. It analyses the public investments released on prevention of natural disasters and intended to subsequent restoration as illustrated by example of flood. To assess an effectiveness of spending the public funds to disaster prevention, the example of flood has been chosen, because the Czech Republic is suffered especially from flooding. The outcome of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of public expenditures in comparison with the experience of neighboring European countries and to formulate recommendations for improving the system of financing the destructive after-effects of natural disasters.

Grants for promoting alternative energy sources

This work deal with the characteristics of alternative energy sources, their usage, comparing with nonrenewable energy sources and of development alternative energy sources above all by grant programs. Important part of this work is also comparing efectivnes and costs. Practical part is followed by a list of requirements and operations necessary for a succesfull and proper utilization of grants. The goal of this work is to show influence of energy production on world economic-political situation especially comparing nonrenewable and alternative sources. Accomplishment of this work I consider finding answer on question: "Is it possible to incorporate alternative energy sources into the regular energy production without grant programs?"
